College organizes a MANY seminar every year on "Improving Learning Capabilities" before the commencement of instruction for the new entrants. The important topics covered are Modes of Learning, Effective Reading, Listening and Reviewing Techniques, Time & Memory Management, Good Study Skills and Personality Development. Students are benefited from this and are able to take off smoothly for getting adjusted to Engineering Degree Programmes
Experts are either invited from outside or students themselves are encouraged to give seminars on topics of their interest. One period is allocated every week for this purpose. This activity is stressed all through their stay in the college. This helps them learn to
•Search related literature.
•Prepare transparencies.
•Plan the talk.
•Present the subject logically.
•Face a group of persons in the audience.
•Contact specialists and interact with them for help to make the talk rich and learn to Prepare write ups on the talk.
The students in the audience also learn to interact and obtain clarifications in a professional manner. The students are helped with a readymade list of topics for seminars to choose from, if necessary.
