INFRASTRUCTURE
HOSTEL

College provides seperate well furnished hostel facilities for boys, girls and staff members within college campus. Every room is provided with a computer and 24 hours internet facility is available to be intact with the latest updates.
The college hostels can accomadate 300 boys and 150 girls students and 50 faculty members stay in the staff quarters. Staff quarters are provided free of cost to the faculty members. Special lecture sessions are arranged in the evening hours for the students staying in the hostel.


Rules for the Hostellers

 

  • No night stay in local guardian’s house. If necessary this can be availed only by the letter from the Parents - for I year UG and I year PG boys.
  • Girl students will be allowed to go out only with their parents or with their authorized local guardians.
  • For the local guardian’s home visit and for the visit to the home town - parents are requested to send the letter directly to us. Letter through fax or courier can be allowed only for emergency purposes. E-mail is not allowed. Or the Local guardians may come in person and take the ward out.
Permission will not be given for tuition and computer classes outside.
  • For any mis-behaviour and misconduct, students will not be allowed to continue in the hostel.
  • Getting permission and not returning in time will be seriously viewed. You will not be granted any further permission.
  • When parents come to Hyderabad for any reason, they can come to the college and pick up their wards, but do not make any phone call and ask the students to come to the place where you stay.
  • For own sister’s/brother’s marriage or any other family functions, parents have to send the letter directly to the Director and get the permission. As usual, for 3 and more than 3 days permission, parents should meet the Director in person and get permission.
  • Hostel “PERMISSION CARD”, Local guardians photos and applications should be filled up and submitted before entering the hostel itself.
  • Other than the parents and authorized local guardians, nobody is allowed to see the wards. The above said visitors should report to the office, and then see their wards in the reception only. They should not chat inside the car without permission. Visitors is Only for students, not for the other friends, especially girl students should not take their friends along with them to see their visitors - Visitors time is after 3.15 pm only on weekends.
  • We do not encourage the phone calls other than the parents, and authorized local guardians.
  • During working days, all students should leave the hostel premises before 7.25 a.m.
  • Those who want to apply leave for any medical reasons, they have to be in the office at 7.30 a.m.and get the permission only from the Director or from the Attendance In-charge.
  • College buses are only for Day scholar students, hence hostel students should not board the college buses.
  • STUDY HOURS : All the students should be inside the allotted class rooms during the study hours - between 6.00 pm. and 9.00 pm .
  • All should open bank account in our college extension counter - Money transaction only through D.D. - Money order will not be entertained from the students or parents.Do not send money by courier. Students should not keep more than Rs.100/- or any gold ornaments in the room. We are not responsible for any cash loss in the rooms.
  • SILENCE HOURS : From 10.00 pm. to 06.00 am. during these timings students must be in their room only and are not allowed to stay or chat in other rooms.
  • No Utensils such as tumblers, plates, etc. are not allowed to be carried to the rooms from the mess.
  • The hostel fee is for the whole year, if a student wants to leave the hostel in the middle of the year for any reasons, no refund will be made on any account.
  • Students are required to keep their rooms neatly, including the toilets clean.
  • Letter addressed to the students should bear the room number also. Parents are requested to note this - letters are allowed only from the parents.
  • If there is any electrical fault or leakage or blockage in pipes, the same should be recorded by the students in the log book kept for this purpose in the hostel office. Action for repair will be taken on receipt of the report of the student. Students are not permitted to keep any electrical & electronics items like RADIO, HEATERS, IRON BOX including WALKMAN, TRANSISTOR etc., with them.
  • Water heaters will be switched on only from 2 nd October to 28 th February.

 

LOCAL GUARDIAN

This is the clarification about the role of guardian - they are appointed as local guardian to look after their welfare, moral support and visit to the hostel. They are not empowered to take their ward to their house or call them over the phone and take them home.

 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE HOSTELLERS

  • Keeping and using of Cell Phones and other Electrical and Electronic items like Heaters, Cameras,Walkman and Radios are strictly prohibited in the College & Hostel.
  • All UG Boy students should stay in the hostel at least for the first 2 years .
  • All UG & PG Girls students should stay in the hostel for their entire course period.
  • Parents are requested to meet the DIRECTOR only between 3.00 p.m and 4.00 p.m
  • Visitors for Hostel students will be allowed from 9.00 am . to 6.00 pm - during Holidays only
  • Visitors are not allowed to see their wards during working days.
  • Maximum of 7 days in a year can be permitted to stay away from the hostel with their parents when the parents are in Hyderabad.
  • Apart from the fee what you have paid initially - we are not collecting any other fee like Hostel day celebration, fine and others.
