The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2002 with the vision of developing the department as a Center of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and make the students blossom into meritorious and self-disciplined engineers by hard work.
The Department is ISO9001 certified and also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The department consistently produces University ranks in University Examinations. The Department has been moving forward in achieving academic excellence with a strong commitment and dedicated approach, by clearly setting up of a vision of its own. The initiatives taken have already started yielding excellent results, in terms of research funding and other developmental activities thus keeping us in the path of excellence.
The First year Core Curriculum begins with a common knowledge base and customizes Students by grounding in basic Engineering Foundation and in Critical Hands-on Skills in Engineering Practices. The Course has access to enhance the Learning, Student Perspective and Experience to develop Specialization in areas of 'Electronics and Communication Engineering'. Classroom learning is complemented by practical in Hi-Tech Labs, Projects and Hands on Experiences, so as to foster Knowledge in 'Engineering and Technology'.
