The Department of Civil Engineering was started during the academic year 2004 with an intake of 60 students . The intake currently is 120 in each of the specialisations.
The department has all infrastructure facilities required for imparting high quality education and is structured to meet the present day needs of the society. The department is equipped with excellent laboratories provided with state of art equipment and experiment facilities . The department has well qualified and experienced faculty ably supported by highly skilled and competent technicians to undertake testing and consultancy works specially government sponsored projects.

About the students Achivements We feel proud to say that the students of civil Engineering are zealous and hard working. Our students Atif Rahaman has secured university 1’Rank for consecutive two years in I,II-B.Tech 1st semester and Ms.Husna has secured university 6’Rank in the final year examinations .
Our students are equally enthusiastic in participating in various work shop and seminars and have secured many prizes in various competitions through out the state and have brought laurels to the department and college .
Students are interested in pursuing higher education and were successful in securing admissions in various reputed universities in countries like Australia,uk financial assistance. Many of our students are placed in companies like LANCO, IVRCL….with hand some salaries.
